TERMS & CONDITIONS
PASSPORTS: Everyone, including children and infants, must have a valid passport to travel internationally. A valid passport book (not a passport card or Real ID) is one that is valid for the entire duration of your trip. Many countries require that your passport be valid for at least 6 months after your scheduled return date. For additional information, please visithttps://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply.html. PASSPORT CARDS ARE ONLY VALID FOR DOMESTIC AIR TRAVEL & CRUISES SAILING ROUND-TRIP FROM A PORT IN THE USA. THEY ARE NOT VALID FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL BY AIR.
RESEARCH FEES: Mayfield Elite Travel reserves the right to charge research fees for new reservation requests. The research fee ranges from $0-$250 per quote, depending on the details of the trip and the extent of research involved. The fee will be disclosed in advance and must be paid prior to the trip research commencing. The research fee is non-refundable, however, it is transferable to your final payment if booked within 30 days of the quote being presented. After 30 days, the research fee is no longer transferable and any new quote requests, will require payment of a new research fee. In the event of trip cancellation (whether you cancel it or it is canceled due to non-payment), the research fee will be retained by Mayfield Elite Travel. If your cancelled trip entities you to a refund, the research fee will be deducted from your refund. This is in addition to any cancellation penalties or administrative fees associated with the cancellation of your reservation. If you inadvertently receive a portion of the research fee in your refund, you will be required to reimburse Mayfield Elite Travel for the research fee. Mayfield Elite Travel retains the right to collect additional research fees if you request to makes changes or revisions to the original quote once the research has commenced. These changes/revisions include, but are not limited to: changes to the trip dates, changes to the destination(s), changes to the number of travelers, etc. Mayfield Elite Travel will disclose the cost of the additional research fee prior to conducting the additional research.
CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS: ANY changes made to your existing reservation are subject to change fees and is subject to the current rates, promotions, and terms at the time of change. Change fees vary by reservation and may include a service charge payable to Mayfield Elite Travel.
FINAL PAYMENT: The final payment MUST be received on or BEFORE the final payment due date. Final payments not received on the due date will incur late fees (see LATE FEES section for details). Final payments are not automatically charged, unless you have provided prior consent in writing. Please make a note of your final payment due date, as reminders may NOT be sent, however we attempt to send reminders 2-3 weeks prior to the due date. You must go to the Mayfield Elite Travel Payment Portal to submit your payment on the date you'd like the payment to be posted. Please note, it may take up to 3 business days for your payment to be processed and for a confirmation to be sent. Mayfield Elite Travel is not responsible for cancellations due to payments made after this date. Late fees will apply.
CANCELLATION PENALTIES: Unless otherwise specified in writing, all deposits and subsequent payments are non-refundable. Travelers may purchase cancel for any reason insurance or pre-departure protection coverage. See CANCEL FOR ANY REASON TRAVEL INSURANCE and PRE-DEPARTURE PROTECTION for details.
LATE FEES: Final payments not received prior to the Final Payment due date will incur a late fee of $50 or 7.5% of the overdue balance, whichever is greater. All reservations are subject to cancellation and hotel penalties as described above, if final payment is not received on or before the due date. Late fees are not covered by travel insurance and are always non-refundable.
All the above would be protected with the optional Travel Insurance with the exception of late fees. If you do not have insurance – natural disasters (such as hurricanes), cancellations for ANY reason (medical/personal emergencies, cancelation of the wedding, etc.) do not relieve you from these penalties. ONLY the Travel Insurance will ensure you coverage. All cancellations must be received in writing.
HONEYMOON & ANNIVERSARY TRAVELERS: You MUST bring a copy of your marriage certificate to qualify for any complimentary honeymoon/anniversary package (photo copy is recommended). Failure to have such proof of marriage will result in the resort denying these complimentary privileges (if applicable). PLEASE notify your Mayfield Elite Travel agent if you are celebrating a Honeymoon or Anniversary so that they can annotate this in your reservation. Typically resort will honor these packages up to 30 days before or after your honeymoon/anniversary date.
PRE-DEPARTURE PROTECTION: The Pre-Departure Protection (PDP) waiver allows traveler to revise his/her booking up to and including the 14th day prior to departure or to cancel the booking entirely at least one day prior to originally scheduled departure time without incurring airline revision or cancellation fees. Cancellations must be made at least one day prior to originally scheduled departure and will result in a future travel credit good for one year. Basic Economy fares, some excursions, promotional tours, specific room categories and activities that are identified as "non-refundable" or "advance purchase" are not covered by the PDP. Additional exclusions apply. The cost of the PDP is non-refundable and is not included in future travel credit calculation.
This plan does not include increased rates associated with a change in the number of individuals occupying a room. If the number of individuals occupying a room changes, the remaining travelers will be responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result of the change in the per-person occupancy rate. If the reservation is already paid in full, the travel credits for the cancelling party may be reduced to offset the difference in cost.
This plan does not cover your deposit if you fail to make additional payments after your deposit is submitted. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable if you do not make payments towards your trip.
TRAVEL PROTECTION PLUS PLAN: By purchasing Travel Protection Plus (available only on certain qualifying reservations), travelers can relax and have confidence in their vacation purchase. If needed, travelers can cancel their trip for any reason. Simply email us at least one day prior to departure to cancel and receive a refund in the form of a travel credit, minus the cost of the Travel Protection Plus. Other benefits include no fees for vacation changes, hurricane travel credit, and during travel benefits such as 24-hour emergency assistance, baggage protection and more.
Redemption Information: Please refer to "How To File A Claim" section under Travel Protection for more information on requesting a refund or filing a claim. The following items are not refundable under Travel Protection Plus:
• "No Show" situations where the traveler does not check in and denied boarding situations are not covered
• Non-refundable hotel rates • Air not purchased from Funjet Vacations
• If the number of individuals occupying a room decreases, the remaining travelers will be responsible for additional costs incurred as a result of a change in the per person occupancy rate
• Nonrefundable travel agent fees may be included in your package price. Please consult your travel agent.
• No name changes or substitutions on travel protection plans
• Cost to change to an alternate scheduled airline as a result of an airline schedule change prior to departure
• The cost of the travel protection plan
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Travel Insurance is an optional feature that is not included with your reservation or the The Pre-Departure Protection (PDP), but is included with a Travel Protection Plus Plan (see TRAVEL PROTECTION PLUS PLAN for full details). Travel insurance may offer the following additional coverages:
- Trip Cancellation with Cash Refund
- Trip Interruption/Trip Delay
- Lost/Damage Baggage & Personal Effects
- Emergency Medical Expense
- Emergency Medical Evacuation & Repatriation
- AD&D
- Travel Assistance

Please note, for your travel insurance policy to be valid, you must purchase it at least 14 days prior to departure.
SERVICE CHARGES: Mayfield Elite Travel reserves the right to apply service charges for requests in excess of normal service to a reservation. This may include: multiple changes to an already booked reservation including the destination, travel dates or hotel, name changes, name corrections, and the like. This service charge is in addition to any non-refundable supplier deposits or fees.
A service charge of 20% of the reservation total will apply in situations where a cash refund is offered to a traveler. A cash refund may be offered in the unlikely circumstance that a hotel, cruise line, airline or other supplier cancels a reservation for reasons beyond our control. However, the service charge is waived when the travelers declines the cash refund and allows the funds to remain as a travel credit with Mayfield Elite Travel for future use.
TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN: Children under 18 years of age not traveling with both parents or legal guardian(s) may need to present a notarized letter from the absent parent/guardian granting permission to travel outside the United States and provide emergency medical care if necessary. Mayfield Elite Travel is not responsible for lack of compliance to provide proper documentation to airport authorities. It is the responsibility of the traveler & the traveler’s parents/guardians to provide proper documentation to airport authorities.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Travel documents will be sent to you no later than ten (10) days prior to departure date. Please read through these documents immediately; misprints, misspellings, incorrect dates etc. are not the responsibility of Mayfield Elite Travel Included in your travel documents (if airfare is purchased through Mayfield Elite Travel) are airline electronic ticket receipts (proof of purchase, not boarding passes or actual tickets). Boarding passes are printed at the time of check in; online with the airline directly, or at the airport when showing passport & checking in luggage. It is very important that you take your travel documents with you in addition to passports and a major credit card for any baggage fees that may apply.
TRAVEL CREDITS: Travel credits are valid only for the original traveler or cardholder named on the original reservation. Travel credits are non-refundable, cannot be applied towards an initial deposit and are voided if the reservation in which they are applied to is cancelled, unless prior approval to rebook is given. If a traveler is issued a refund on a reservation that was booked in part or whole with a travel credit, the value of the travel credit will be deducted from the refund and voided. Travel credits expire. It is the traveler's responsibility to confirm travel credit expiration date(s) and contact Mayfield Elite Travel to use prior to expiration. Mayfield Elite Travel will not be held responsible for expired travel credits.
BAGGAGE FEES: Due to continual changes in airline baggage policies it is suggested that you inquire with your airline's website for up-to-date fees & information. Mayfield Elite Travel is NOT responsible for additional fees incurred for baggage or seating. BAGGAGE FEES ARE NOT PART OF AN ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGE!

AIRLINE SCHEDULE CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS: Occasionally airlines change flight schedules, & may even cancel flights entirely. These changes are beyond Mayfield Elite Travel's control. In the event that such a situation occur; Mayfield Elite Travel will do it’s very best to assist you with finding best possible alternate option(s). If the flight time change is minor (2 hours or less) the airline will automatically make the change (airline policies/rules
entitle them to legally do so). Mayfield Elite Travel will notify you of major changes. Please Note: there may be additional costs to re-book a new flight should the airline cancel or make a major change to your original flight itinerary. Mayfield Elite Travel is NOT responsible for any additional costs or fees imposed by the airlines. It is the responsibility of the passenger to check for last minute airline flight time changes within 24 hours of departure. Mayfield Elite Travel is not responsible for changes that may occur within 24 hours of original flight departure time.
RECONFIRM YOUR FLIGHTS: Mayfield Elite Travel advises you personally reconfirm your flight schedule within 24 hours prior to departure directly with the airline in case of any last minute changes or delays. Most airlines allow you to check in online 24 hours prior to departure using the “Record Locator” (found in your Mayfield Elite Travel documents)
AIRLINE CHECK IN: Please check in with your airline at the airport no later than two (2) hours prior to scheduled flight departure time.
RESORT CHECK IN: Check-in time at most resorts is 3:00pm (local time). If you arrive prior to 3:00pm your room may not be ready. The resort will store your luggage in a secure location on property so you may start enjoying your vacation without delay. Change into something more comfortable and enjoy a nice lunch, swim in the pool, walk along the beach, etc. until you are notified that your room accommodation is ready for check in.
DRESS CODE: ** MEN ** - Please be advised that some resort restaurants may require long pants, collared shirt, & closed-toe shoes. Please pack accordingly.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION: The Parties agree to attempt initially to solve all claims, disputes or controversies arising under, out of or in connection with this Service by conducting good faith negotiations. If the Parties are unable to settle the matter between themselves, both Parties agree to waive their rights to seek remedies in court. The matter shall therefore be resolved by alternative dispute resolution, starting with mediation and including, if necessary, a final and binding arbitration. Whenever a Party shall decide to institute arbitration proceedings, it shall give written notice to that effect to the other Party. The Party giving such notice shall refrain from instituting the arbitration proceedings for a period of sixty (60) days following such notice. During such period, the Parties shall make good faith efforts to amicably resolve the dispute without arbitration. Any arbitration hereunder shall be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each such arbitration shall be conducted by a panel of three arbitrators: one arbitrator shall be appointed by each partyand the third shall be appointed by the American Arbitration Association. Any such arbitration shall be held in Riverside, California. The arbitrators shall have the authority to grant specific performance. Judgment upon the award so rendered may be entered in any court having jurisdiction or application may be made to such court for judicial acceptance of any award and an order of enforcement, as the case may be. Neither party in any such arbitration shall be entitled to recover from the other party, any costs relating to attorneys' fees or other expenses incurred by for the purposes of Arbitration.

Most airlines allow you to check in online 24 hours prior to departure using the “Record Locator” (found in your Mayfield Elite Travel documents)
AIRLINE CHECK IN: Please check in with your airline at the airport no later than two (2) hours prior to scheduled flight departure time.
RESORT CHECK IN: Check-in time at most resorts is 3:00pm (local time). If you arrive prior to 3:00pm your room may not be ready. The resort will store your luggage in a secure location on property so you may start enjoying your vacation without delay. Change into something more comfortable and enjoy a nice lunch, swim in the pool, walk along the beach, etc. until you are notified that your room accommodation is ready for check in.
DRESS CODE: ** MEN ** - Please be advised that some resort restaurants may require long pants, collared shirt, & closed-toe shoes. Please pack accordingly.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION: The Parties agree to attempt initially to solve all claims, disputes or controversies arising under, out of or in connection with this Service by conducting good faith negotiations. If the Parties are unable to settle the matter between themselves, both Parties agree to waive their rights to seek remedies in court. The matter shall therefore be resolved by alternative dispute resolution, starting with mediation and including, if necessary, a final and binding arbitration. Whenever a Party shall decide to institute arbitration proceedings, it shall give written notice to that effect to the other Party. The Party giving such notice shall refrain from instituting the arbitration proceedings for a period of sixty (60) days following such notice. During such period, the Parties shall make good faith efforts to amicably resolve the dispute without arbitration. Any arbitration hereunder shall be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each such arbitration shall be conducted by a panel of three arbitrators: one arbitrator shall be appointed by each partyand the third shall be appointed by the American Arbitration Association. Any such arbitration shall be held in Riverside, California. The arbitrators shall have the authority to grant specific performance. Judgment upon the award so rendered may be entered in any court having jurisdiction or application may be made to such court for judicial acceptance of any award and an order of enforcement, as the case may be. Neither party in any such arbitration shall be entitled to recover from the other party, any costs relating to attorneys' fees or other expenses incurred by for the purposes of Arbitration.
